Corns and Calluses
These are thickened areas of skin that can become painful. Usually found at points of pressure, i.e. under the ball of the foot, heels and on boney prominences on top or between toes.
The skin can become dry and split leading to increased discomfort and the possibility of infection.
Treatment is removal of the corn or callus after which your Podiatrist will discuss ways of managing the problem.
